The Immaculate Conception
More over the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.
But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD. & he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, & bear a son, & shall call his name Immanuel.
Butter & Honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, & choose the good.
For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, & choose the good, the land that thou abhorrent shall be forsaken of both her kings. -Isaiah 7:10-16
On this day of sharing gifts & celebration, I want to take the time in bringing remembrance to the TRUE gift of this season, which is the gift of giving. Understanding what it truly means to give, & the impact it can have for us all in these trying times. Not just today as we give in celebration, but also moving forward as we collectively take on the pandemic, that we carry this spirit of giving with us into the new year.
In honor of a giving spirit, I make in memorial the life of one that gave what is un-comparable. Which is the gift of life. The sign of Immanuel, that TRUE LOVE is a gift of life to those that truly believe. A gift proven though long lasting tradition.
I start off this Journey with the law of the Old Testament, which can seem a little heavy for the moment. But this is with the intention that others are able to truly grasp the TRUE beauty of the Gift, with the same joy I have in mind of this moment in time.
The Remission of the Law, as more of a Re-Union.
