Vision Journal Series: Sowing Grounds

 & He spake many things unto them in parables, saying, behold, a sower went forth to sow;

& when he sowed, some seeds fell upon the way side, & the fowls came & devoured them up:

Some fell upon stony places, where had not much earth: & forth with they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

& when the sun was up, they were scorched, & because they had no root, they withered away.

& some fell among thorns; & the thorns sprung up, & choked them:

But other fell into good ground, & brought forth fruit, some an hundred fold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. -Matthew 13:3-9

Where you Stand:

The sowing ground represents a “spiritual foundation” in which a seed may be sown. From the way side even toward good ground, each of us stand in at least one of these four sowing grounds. & Where you stand, will determine the fate of the seed that is sown there-in.

Where you would want to be is on a foundation of good ground, that your seed may abound fruitful & abundant. The journey toward this good ground is a process like any other, but in that process through Divine alignment, a spiritual foundation will have been developed with-in you.

Where You want to be:

Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, come ye blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. -Matthew 25:34

Truth of the matter is that you could very well have a seed reserved for you already, but it’s up to you to actually do what it takes to not only obtain your seed, but also maintain it’s growth.

In this mindset, I see the seed the same way I would the inner child.

& said, verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, & become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. -Matthew 18:3

Vision Journaling is a Process:

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. -James 5:16

For with the heart man beleiveth unto righteousness; & with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. -Romans 10:10

In the process of prayer, we draw near with the intention of “laying our burdens down” or “casting our anxieties” before the DIVINE. This always begins with a process of humility, in which we confess what things afflict us, and how we fall short. Confession is the beginning of remission.

Drawing near toward Divine with a sincerity of spirit encourages true alignment with your higher nature. Confession of your lower nature is a sincerity of spirit. Mind over matter.

 It builds up Spiritual Foundation:

The like figure whereunto even Baptism doth now save us (not the putting away of filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God.) by the resurrection. -1 Peter 3:21

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace where-in we stand, & rejoice in hope of the Glory of God. -Romans 5:2

The ultimate goal in maintaining your seed is that you become anchored & established in that grace. A vision journal helps us to accomplish this.

For me, journaling serves as navigation for the process of any journey, which helps us to get a glimpse of that journey from a spiritual perspective.

This vision journal becomes like your own personal garden, & like any garden, it’s up to you to tend to it, & maintain it’s growth.

The Untaken Vail: The Blog Series

Because the law was given by Moshe, but grace & truth come by Ha-Mashiyach.

& when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the gentiles by his ministry. & when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, & said unto him, thou seests brother, how many thousands of Jews there are all zealous of the law: & they are informed of thee, that thou teaches all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, Saying that they ought not circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

What is it therefore? The Multitude must needs come together for they will hear that thou art come.

Mar’s Hill: The Blog Series

Learning to develop your own spiritual journey isn’t something exclusive to only a select few people in the world. This is something that literally anybody can do. It only calls that we learn to align ourselves with certain DIVINE principles in which we hope to obtain & welcome into our journey. Simply ask yourself, what does a spirit journey look like for me? & with out even saying anything, meditate on the question, & imagine what you see for yourself in life.
