Vision journaling series: True Vision Takes Sacrifice

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
& have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” -Colossians 3:9-10

Essentially with journaling as a humility process, what we’re doing is bringing into subjection, the corruptible character of our past-life, so that this character of new-life may flourish. & so with this, we can see that it takes sacrifice for us to successfully grow into the vision.

Again, there is no right or wrong in our way toward humility as it pertains to maintaining a healthy conscience. Even what most would consider wrong, receives opportunity to be made right in Divine will. & so with that in mind, a sincerity of spirit will bring forth the best results in return of true self-discipline.

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” -Colossians 3:2

Even as it pertains to prayer, we acknowledge our heaviness & confess our burdens. But we overcome these things through seeking a DIVINE perspective over that circumstance;(mind over matter). Writing out the process of these things become the intimacy of our journey with the Divine. & the processing of these things are what will build up your vision journal, equipping you in the spirit with a renewed sense of endurance for your journey or purpose(s).

“put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy & beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; - Colossians 3:12

& above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
& let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. -Colossians 3:14-15
