The “Less -is-More” Mindset
But Godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into this world, & it is certain we can carry nothing out. Having food & raiment let us be there with content. - 1 Timothy 6:6-8
When it comes to pursuing our personal goals, we find that its the things least serving toward progression that tend to be more convenient than our own goals. We should first be assured of self, not to fall away from our own steadfast journey. But to also be perceptive & able to see these common distractions, as things that clutter the mind from being best focused & intuitive on our goals. & Concerning regression, these are what disallow us from obtaining greater potential of success. We find our solution in detaching from these things that limit us, so that we can better focus on our goals. This act of detachment is what we commonly know today as “minimalism.”
The “Less-is-More” Mindset
The minimalist purpose is found with intent of non-conforming to any consumer obsessive standards we may come across but rather renewing the mind to consider hat is duly necessary. Minimalism as an ancient discipline seems to have resurfaced in our day & age with a new name. It is the embrace of simplicity of spirit with few material possessions attached. With intent of eliminating excess & adding purpose to ones life. In this we find many different types of minimalists, yet they will all in common be somebody who is particularly careful about what they keep in their lives. Considering every possession to serve a purpose & value.
