THE DHIMMI AGENDA: The Athletes (an Epicurean Pursuit of Happiness)

ATHLETE + HEAVYWEIGHT

With keeping in mind that we tap into our stoic realm to help combat the adversary spirit within ourselves, which then better equips us to overcome any adversity we may encounter in our journey.

We can better perceive that our time spent in the process of these things plays it’s role of an inner battle for that new foundation in our journey.

These things become the makings of that athlete spirit formed within us. Striving for self-mastery according to law is the name of the game.
*clothed with humility temp*

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

& if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

-2 TIM 2:4-5

I like to look toward history in reminder of how vital these things come to be. For example, when we look at the history leading up to Dhimma culture, we find that same spirit of an Athlete that overcomes adversity.

(AFFILIATION PORTION) ATHLETES: EPICUREAN PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS

It was a city, a realm, that proved uniquely congenial to it’s Jews dispersed in small enclaves throughout the southern & central regions of the peninsula, these Jews of Sepharad (the Hebrew term for Iberia) Openly welcomed their new conquerors. Earlier, under Christian Visigoths, the Sephardim had endured harsh conversionary pressures & intermittent physical abuse. Now they were quite prepared to offer their services to the invading Moors, even to organize their own Jewish Militias for battle against the common enemy. It was a useful commitment…
-"Farewell Espana: The World of the Sephardim Remembered"

What happens when enough athletes come together against a common enemy within each of them that they’ve all had to overcome at some point in their journey? At that point, true healing can begin with them simply deciding to organize under a common purpose of helping others who may also be looking to overcoming this obstacle. Each athlete, possessing within, their own experience of how they found success with that inner battle. This is what becomes their Dhimmi Agenda; the pursuits of an epicurean journey.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth.

-2 TIM 2:15

So, what’s your agenda?
