& Pharoah said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, & there is none that can interpret it: & I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it. -Genesis 41:15

& Joseph said unto Pharoah, the dream of Pharoah is one: God hath shewed Pharoah what he is about to do. -Genesis 41:25

& there shall arise after them seven years of famine; & all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; & the Famine shall consume the land.

& the plentry shall not be known in the land by reason of that famine following; for it shall be very grevious.

& for that the dream was doubled unto Pharoah twice; it is because the thing is established by God, & God will shorty bring it to pass. -Genesis 41:30-32

Now therefore let Pharoah look out a man discreet & wise, & set him over the land of Egypt.

Let Pharoah do this, & let him appoint officers over the land, & take up a fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

& let them gather all the food of those good years that come, & lay up corn under the hand of Pharoah, & let them keep food in the cities.

& that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land perish not through the famine.

& the thing was good in the eyes of Pharoah, & in the eyes of all his servants. -Genesis 41:33-37

The Dilemma

As of Recently, I’ve found myself to be homeless. Since the fall of 2021, I’ve been spending my nights sleeping in my car, & now that my car is in a repair shop, my options have become even more limited, as I dont even make enough money to pay for the repairs.

The common sense solution to my dilemma would obviously be to get another job. The truth of the matter is that I’ve been through five jobs, all paying better than my current one. The better paying options among these jobs, I lost unfortunately due to the pandemic. & even the other options, I left, due to my own social dilemma, that follows me wherever I go, be it work-related or not. With this pandemic, I find it no longer effective to depend on a 9-5 as an only source of income. (not that it was all too sensible to begin with.)

But what’s worse with this pandemic, is the way it will affect those whose choices are already slim to none. I am only one of many that will find themselves in this similar circumstance due to our conflict in choices.

We appear to have failed at life, when in reality, this life has, in many ways, failed us. & when systems fail the people, is also a time where the people must begin to find our own reasonable solutions to crisis.

For example:

We have Olympia Auset, who is the creator of SÜPRMARKT.

SÜPRMARKT is a low cost organic grocery servicing low income communities in LA. It operates weekly, providing 100% organic produce to make great health and healing available to the communities which need it most because, as she believes, “everyone deserves great produce.”

In What Ways can we combat Crisis?

Over the course of a little over a year now, I've spent my days designing a workshop that could contribute to bringing some potential aid to others in pandemic.

With my Plant-based on a Budget: Fasting-Workshop,

I provide a series of template worksheets which help in the process of designing a pantry that would suit your necessity. In the process, we also learn how to budget this pantry with the intention of saving you money with a plant-based diet as well.

Prep-planning as a lifestyle, helps us to reserve space in more areas than one. Whether you're looking to store up excess food or supplies in the case of an emergency, or simply looking to save money on your groceries. The reality is that most Americans are technically unprepared for the possibility of a long-term emergency or disaster when it comes to simple necessities like food & water alone.

Technically speaking, if any of us are less than 3 months prepared for the case of an emergency, then we fit in with 78% of other Americans. Here with the Plant-based on a Budget: Fasting-Workshop, we provide members with a 4-week head start in building their own personal pantry while also saving money in the process!
