Inner Gold/Child perspectives 4
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question tempting him saying,
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
& THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, & WITH ALL THY SOUL, & WITH ALL THY MIND, & WITH ALL THY STRENGTH: this is the first commandment. -Mark 12:30-31
In this do we find grace with the law. That all the law and the prophets are said the hang on these two commandments.
What does this mean? That with a sincerity of spirit, this grace works in our favor concerning the law.
Truly consider your sincerity in the matter and the sincerity of those around you.
But he answered & said unto him, who is my mother? & who are my brethren? - Matthew 12:48
Concerning those that handle the law with contention, we find grace sufficiently made perfect in weakness.
Where then is the law, when we find that a brother is in need? And where do we stand in case of the matter? At attendence or with negligence?
HIM that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
For one beleiveth that he may eat all things; another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; & let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth; for God hath received him.
Who art thou that judges another man’s servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: For God is able to make him stand. -Romans 14:1-4
So then we find that every one of us will give account of himself to God. This is what I mean, when I say that the journey weighs heavy on the foundations of our faith. Through these things, we find ourselves condemned or justified of ourselves.
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. -Romans 14:12-13
It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything whereby thy brother stumblieth, or is offended, or is made weak.
Hast thou faith? Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemned not himself in that which he alloweth.
& he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. -Romans 14:21-23
